<br />Dear Delta County Commissioners:

<br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety renewed Mining Permit No. C-1996-083
<br />for the Bowie No. 2 Mine on December 30, 2017, allowing coal mining and reclamation operations
<br />to continue under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979.
<br />The permit was issued to Bowie Resources, LLC, P.O. Box 483, Paonia, CO 81428, (970) 929-
<br />5258 , for their mining operation located in Delta County, approximately 5 miles Northeast of
<br />Paonia, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows:

<br />Portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 22, Township 13 South,
<br />Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. Portions of Sections 27, 28, 33, 34 and 35, Township 12 South,
<br />Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. Portions of Sections 1 and 12 of Township 13 South Range 92
<br />West of the 6th P.M.
