EXHIBIT E <br /> RECLAMATION PLAN AND TIMETABLE <br /> Reclamation Plan. Rapid urban development is surrounding the mine along the <br /> west, south and east mine permit boundaries. It is unlikely the land will be <br /> developed as part of a residential area because of underground subsidence from <br /> coal mining. At the present time, the operator has no definite plan for such <br /> development on the affected land since it would take place in the distant future. <br /> Therefore, the operator has selected a reclamation plan of pasture grazing use as <br /> the most versatile and protective of the land until other plans are adopted. <br /> Due to the steeply dipping beds and the clay quality changes with depth; <br /> the mine will mine a large area and reclamation will be performed at the end of <br /> mining. The waste sandstone encountered and extracted while mining the clay <br /> will be spread on the floor and lower slopes. This sand material, about 40 percent <br /> of the total material removed during mining, has been found to swell considerably. <br /> The swell factor is estimated to be 1.33. Thus, it is estimated the material returned <br /> to the pit will be in excess of 50 percent of the total volume mined. <br /> Next, the overburden salvaged during the stripping operation will be <br /> returned to the slopes and new floor area. On the slopes, this material will be left <br /> in a fairly rough condition during redeposition to allow the following layer of <br /> topsoil to "bind" to the underlying materials. On the floor areas the overburden <br /> material will be smoothed to some extent as it may become the plant growth <br /> medium at a later stage of the reclamation process. <br /> 15 Revised October 2017 <br />
