The application was deemed complete on
December 18, 2017.

TR-142 proposes to allow for initial SST south mains development mining toward the future
potential Sunset Trail longwall panels development area, or the potential Mt. Gunnison Fuel (MCC
fee) panel area. After mining to the south of the fault zone (permitted with Minor Revision 425),
four to six entries are proposed to be developed approximately six cross-cuts to the south, to the
southern boundary of federal coal lease C-1362. All of the proposed unedrground development is
within the current permit boundary. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance
outside of the area currently approved for disturbance.

Permit Revision (PR), Permit Renewal (RN), or Technical Revision (TR) application materials are
available for review at the Gunnison County Clerk and Recorder, 221 N. Wisconsin, Gunnison, CO
81230 and at the Division’s Denver office. Minor Revision (MR) and Surety Release (SL)
application materials are available for review at the Division’s Denver office.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
