December 8, 2017 D/y/ N (,'►
Ms.Amy Eschberger /  Ar/0N DEC
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety s/py W?017
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215 M/N/ ApSCg 10AP
Denver, CO 80203AP;
Dear Ms. Eschberger,
I live along Highway 115 and I am writing to str gly object t e Transit Mix
proposed quarry, application number M2017-0
I believe Transit Mix will say anything to get their objective, and they cannot be
trusted to fairly assess the damage they will impose on our water, wildlife,
traffic...and at the end of the day, our quality of life.
Highway 115 is a dangerous road and adding increased traffic of heavy vehicles
will most clearly lead to accidents and possible loss of life. Transit Mix could care
less about those of us who live here as long as they can make money off of the
environment and our natural resources. Other quarries are available along the
same highway, within a few miles of this proposed location.
I most strongly oppose, and request the Mine Land Reclamation Board (MLRB)
deny Transit Mix's application.
Regards,
Susan Firks
