The Applicant is proposing to change the final grade of the reclaimed slopes from 5H: IV to <br />3H: IV. The Operator has provided a financial warranty calculation which accounts for refuse which has <br />been removed from the site. In order for the Dig -~,,ton to give the Operator credit for refuse and <br />equipment which has been removed. a detailed accounting of the items which were removed <br />must be provided to the Division. The Operator's financial warranty calculation estimates the cost for seed bed preparation, <br />seeding. and mulching to be 523,400.00. The Division's estimated cost for the same <br />reclamation tasks is $63,077.00. '1'Itis amount was based on the approved Reclamation flan <br />and the total area affected by the mining operation. The Operator has not provided a bw-is for <br />a reduction in the amount of financial warranty required for these reclamation tasks. The <br />Operator shall clarify if any component of these reclamation tasks are being changed through <br />'technical Revision No_ 6.
