control, costs invoicing, scheduling, subcontracting, and client relations. Mr. Louviere has served
as Project Manager for GLEI for 6 years and successfully managed over 7,000,000 square foot of the slurry
cutoff walls.
• Steve Credeur,Construction Superintendent—Mr.Credeur will be responsible for day-to-day field
operations and management of the project including implementation of the quality control and safety
programs. Mr. Credeur has constructed over 10,000,000 square feet of slurry cutoff walls.
SCOPE OF WORK
The following provides a summary of GLEI's scope of work for this project:
1.0 Mobilization and demobilization of all the necessary labor, materials and equipment, as required to
construct the proposed cutoff walls.
2.0 Construction of approximately 5,580 lineal feet of soil-bentonite slurry cutoff wall to an estimated
average depth of 60 feet. It is currently estimated that the proposed cutoff wall will be 335,000-sf with
depths no deeper than 74-feet. The total square footage will be adjusted as needed to meet the actual
site conditions. Work includes a preconstruction mix design.
The proposed cutoff walls will have a maximum seepage allowance of 0.03 CF/SF of wall per day.
Work under this task does not include providing all daily QC testing, inspections and permeability
testing as it is to be provided by Brierley Associates per the design report. A mounding cap consisting
of surplus soils/spoils will be placed over the completed walls, as required.
3.0 Treatment of the on-site water source to meet the specified hardness of less than 100 ppm with a
combination of soda ash and lime. Based on the initial testing treatment could be as much as 8 Ibs per
1,0000 gallons of water
PRICING COST USED FOR
The pricing for the work, as discussed under our scope of work, is as follows: SLURRY WALL
Loloff Gravel Pit—Soil-Bentonite Slur Cutoff Wall Pricing
Item Description Estimated Cost per Total Cost
No. Quantity Unit
1.
