RE: Hitch Rack Ranch Quarry, File No. M-2017-049

Please be advised that on November 9, 2017, Transit Mix Concrete Co., whose address and telephone number
are 444 E. Costilla St., Colorado Springs, CO 80903; [phone], filed an application to conduct a(n)
Surface mining and reclamation operation, at or near Section 16, Township 16N, Range 67W, 6th Principle
Meridian, in El Paso County. Please be advised that the permit area may be located in more than one Section,
Township, and Range. Affected lands will be reclaimed to support a Wildlife habitat post-mining land use.
The application decision date is scheduled for April 8, 2018.

A copy of the application is available for review at the El Paso County Clerk & Recorder's office and at the
office of the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety.
