The revised Mining Plan Map must conform to the requirements of Rule 6.4.3. Please revise
the Mining Plan Map to include the following:
a. All adjoining surface owners of record
b. The name and location of all creeks, roads, buildings, oil and gas wells and lines, and
power communication lines on the area of affected land and within 200 feet of all
boundaries of such area.
c. Show the owner's name, type of structures, and location of all significant, valuable
and permanent man-made structures contained on the area of affected land and within
200 feet of the affected land.
d. Depict all off-sets and buffers which have been approved in the Mining Plan.
See the revised Map C-2 that is attached.
2. The revised Reclamation Plan Map contains a label which states slopes will be reclaimed at
3H:1 V. The approved Reclamation Plan calls for reclaiming the site to approximate original
contour. Please revise the Reclamation Plan Map to show the majority of reclaimed slopes
will be at 5H:IV.
See the revised Map F that is attached.
3. The Applicant has stated the access road adjacent to the stormwater collection ditch will be
used to access the river following reclamation of the site. However, the Applicant has not
provided a justification for leaving a road between the Gloria Z operation and the property
located immediately to the east. It would seem the sole purpose of this road is related to the
mining operation and there would be no reason for the road to remain after mining is
complete. The Division encourages the Operator to reclaim this access road and to remove it
from the revised Reclamation Plan Map.
The road will be baclfilled, topsoiled, and revegetated.
Gloria Z Pit 1 Greg 1x wla&ad "mu,m PI.0
