Importation of the above listed waste materials will aid in achieving the approved
post mining topography and a surface elevation at least 2 feet above the prevailing
ground water level.
f. "a general engineering plan stating how the material will be placed and
stabilized in a manner to avoid unacceptable settling and voids.
Placement of the imported above listed waste materials into the pit and other areas
now receiving processing fines will, at a minimum, raise the final topography to at
least two feet above the prevailing ground water elevation.
The above listed imported waste materials and the processing facility waste fines will
be graded in conformance with the already approved reclamation plan. Aged
concrete waste, when backfilled, will be covered with earthen material and worked to
eliminate voids. Therefore, since all imported waste material will be used to backfill
mined out pits and other such areas, and reclaimed slopes will be 3H:1 V or less, it is
unlikely any stability issues shall occur.
e ectfully,
Jerald Schnabel
President
Transit Mix Concrete Co.
3
