BEFORE THE MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD <br />STATE OF COLORADO <br />Notice of Violation No. PV -2017-009 <br />FINDINGS OF FACT, CONCLUSIONS OF LAW, AND ORDER <br />IN THE MATTER OF VIOLATION OF GOLD HILL MINERALS, INC., CIVIL <br />PENALTIES, CORRECTIVE ACTION, REVOCATION OF NOTICE OF INTENT <br />TO CONDUCT PROSPECTING OPERATIONS, AND FINDING THE FINANCIAL <br />WARRANTY TO BE SUBJECT TO FORFEITURE, File No. P-2012-006 <br />THIS MATTER came before the Mined Land Reclamation Board ("Board") on <br />September 27, 2017 in Denver, Colorado for a hearing to consider forfeiture of the <br />financial warranty of Gold Hill Minerals, Inc. ("Prospector"), file number P-2012-006. <br />Michelle Ramirez and Tony Waldron appeared on behalf of the Division of Reclamation, <br />Mining and Safety ("Division"). There was no appearance on behalf of Prospector. <br />The Board, having considered the presentation and having been otherwise <br />fully informed of the facts, hereby enters the following findings of fact, conclusions <br />of law and order. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. Prospector holds Notice of Intent to Conduct Prospecting Operations <br />number P-2012-006 ("NOP'). Located in Section 24, Township 2 North, Range 72 <br />West, 6th P.M. in Boulder County, the site is a 0.065 -acre gold and silver prospecting <br />site known as the Bueno Mining Mill. <br />2. The Division holds a financial warranty for the site in the total amount <br />of $18,500. <br />3. On June 1, 2015, the Division sent Prospector an Annual Fee Invoice <br />and Report Request for payment of the 2015 annual fee, completed annual report, <br />and map, all due by the NOI anniversary date. <br />4. On May 31, 2016, the Division sent Prospector an Annual Fee Invoice <br />and Report Request for payment of the 2016 annual fee, completed annual report, <br />and map, all due by the NOI anniversary date. <br />5. On December 23, 2016, the Division mailed a Grace Period letter <br />to Operator. <br />6. On January 23, 2017, the Division received the Grace Period letter by <br />return mail from the U.S. Postal Service. <br />
