La Poudre Gravel Mine. <br /> The site is located north of the Cache La Poudre River, east of WCR 13 and south of Highway 392. The site is <br /> within Section 19, Township 6 North, Range 67 West of the 6th Principal Meridian. The project is located in Weld <br /> County, Colorado as show in the attached amendment figures. <br /> Per the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety(DRMS)when an amendment to an existing 2ffg2 is filed the <br /> applicant is required to discuss prior operations and mining limits with respect to surrounding structures located <br /> around the existing permit boundary and 200'from the"Affected Area". This letter describes the existing La Poudre <br /> Mine boundary and existing activities related to slope stability. Structure agreements have been mailed out to the <br /> following structure owners. The majority of these owners are more than 200'outside of the"Affected Area" <br /> • Overhead Power Line(Western& Eastern Boundary)(PVREA) <br /> • Drainage Easements(CDOT/Windsor) <br /> • Gas Line(Northern Boundary)(DCP) <br /> • Gas Line(Western&Northern Boundary)(XCEL) <br /> • Gas Facility(XCEL) <br /> • Telephone(West&North)(Century Link) <br /> • Pond (West of site)(United Water&Sanitation District) <br /> • Cable(West)(Comcast Link) <br /> • Cable(West)(Dark Com) <br /> • Residents(eastern boundary) (Osbome, McCosh, Brown) <br /> CURRENT MINING CONDITIONS <br /> Bestway Concrete&Aggregates has completed mining the original La Poudre mine, except for under the existing <br /> processing area. The"Wildlife Pond"on the west side of the Site is currently mined out. The slurry lined ponds on <br /> the east side of the site are mined out and filled with storage water. The slurry lined ponds are owned and operated <br /> by Central Colorado Water Conservancy District(Central). These ponds have been approved slurry lined ponds by <br /> the State Engineer's Office since 2011 and are 100% reclaimed. The ponds to the south have been mined out and <br />
