DIVISION 1 - GENERAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> SECTION 01330-SURVEY DATA <br /> PART 1-WORK COVERED <br /> 1.01 SURVEY REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. The Owner shall: <br /> 1. Establish vertical measurements based on established control. <br /> 2. Stake the slurry trench along its alignment at all beginning and ends of all curves and at <br /> 50' stations. <br /> B. The Contractor shall: <br /> 1. Perform construction staking of the centerline of the slurry wall and offset stakes prior to the <br /> start of slung wall construction with qualified,competent personnel. <br /> 2. Make all survey data developed by Contractor in performing surveys required by the work <br /> available to the Owner,QA personnel,and Engineeral for examination throughout the <br /> construction period. <br /> 3. Offset stakes in the area of slurry wall excavation shall remain in place and/or be re- <br /> established if necessary to provide accurate station information. The offset stake shall remain <br /> in place at a minimum until the backfill is in place in the slurry trench. <br /> 4. Survey the slurry wall construction platform to a vertical accuracy of 0.2 feet for each 25' <br /> stations. Provide elevation bench marks on regular intervals for construction laser reference. <br /> The elevation of the bottom of the trench excavation shall be recorded continuously as the <br /> trench excavation proceeds. <br /> 5. Perform an as-constructed survey of the alignment of the slurry wall. The as-constructed <br /> survey shall be supplied to the Engineeral within two weeks of the completion of the <br /> excavation and soil-bentonite backfill of slurry trench. <br /> END OF SECTION <br /> February 2016 Section 01330-Page 1 of 1 <br />
