ADDENDUM 5 <br /> Rule 1.6 <br /> Response to Army Corps of Engineers Comments <br /> The Applicant has reviewed the Comments dated September 25, 2017 which were <br /> received by DRMS from the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers and makes the <br /> following response: <br /> The Applicant consulted with the Colorado Department of Public Health and <br /> Environmental concerning state and federal water quality standard and regulations and has <br /> determined that no additional water quality permits or permits under Section 404 of the Clean <br /> Water Act are necessary. <br /> The Applicant consulted with Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Colorado State <br /> Historic Preservation Office regarding cultural resources and wildlife in the area. Applicant and <br /> Colorado Parks and Wildlife have determined that the Van Valkenburg Quarry will not pose any <br /> significant impact to the wildlife in the area. Should Applicant discover human remains during <br /> the project activities, Applicant will follow the requirements under C.R.S. § 24-80-1301 et seq. <br /> Applicant will ensure its construction plans are in compliance with the floodplain <br /> management criteria of Jackson County and State of Colorado. <br /> Applicant will further review the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers comments periodically <br /> to ensure it remains in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, or guidance. <br /> Van Valkenburg Cattle Co., LLC <br /> Construction Materials Limited Impact(110) Operation Reclamation Permit <br /> Application Amendment Form <br />
