(0)). <br />Response: The CDRMS recently updated the reclamation cost estimate, with a resulting number for the <br />remaining reclamation liability of $1,579,314 (09/09/15). It should also be noted that the bond was <br />converted in 2016 from a self -bond to a surety bond, and the CDRMS currently holds a surety bond in the <br />amount of $2,221,677.26. SP submitted an application (SL -06) for partial bond release on 12/27/16, <br />requesting release of approximately $399,600 in Phase I and Phase IIl liability. The bond -release inspection <br />occurred on 07/19/17, and SP is currently waiting for the final CDRMS bond -release decision. <br />
