Case Narrative
Client: Norwest Corporation TestAmerica Job ID: 280-99562-1
Project/Site: Colorado Springs Transit
ID: 280-99562-1
Laooratory: TestAmerica Denver
Narrative
CASE NARRATIVE
Client: Norwest Corporation
Project: Colorado Springs Transit
Report Number: 280-99562-1
With the exceptions noted as flags or footnotes, standard analytical protocols were followed in the analysis of the samples and no
problems were encountered or anomalies observed. In addition all laboratory quality control samples were within established control
limits, with any exceptions noted below. Each sample was analyzed to achieve the lowest possible reporting limit within the constraints of
the method. In some cases, due to interference or analytes present at high concentrations, samples were diluted. For diluted samples,
the reporting limits are adjusted relative to the dilution required.
Calculations are performed before rounding to avoid round-off errors in calculated results.
All holding times were met and proper preservation noted for the methods performed on these samples, unless otherwise detailed in the
individual sections below.
JPT
.amples were received on 07/25/2017;the samples arrived in good condition, properly preserved and on ice. The temperature of the
coolers at receipt was 9.6C. It should be noted that the samples were received within hours after collection and did not have time to cool.
TOTAL METALS(Method 200.7/200.8)
Continuing Calibration Verification Low(CCVL)standards associated with the Method Blank in batch 280-382470 exhibited%D values out
of range, biased high, for Sodium This is an indicator that data may be biased high. As no detectable concentrations of Sodium are
present in the associated Method Blank, corrective action is deemed unnecessary.
No analytical or quality issues were noted, other than those described above or in the Definitions/Glossary page.
GENERAL CHEMISTRY-VARIOUS
No analytical or quality issues were noted, other than those described above or in the Definitions/Glossary page.
TestAmerica Denver
Page 4 of 28 8/4/2017
