Maximum height from emergency
spillway to the lowest natural ground surface along the longitudinal
centcrline of the dam: 10 feet (ion -jurisdictional).
c) Length of Dam: 200 feet
(7) Land Qwnership
The land upon which the pond will be located is owned by Clements.
10, The Augmentation Plan is described as follow',:
(A) Qut of Priority Diversions to be augmented: those at the Idaho Mill Diversion.
(B) Plan Details
a) When the IMD surface water right is in priority, water will be diverted at IMI)
and distributed directly for Idaho Mill operations, to fill Wildcat Augmentation Ponds 1
and 2, and to fill the Idaho Mill Settling Pond, if necessary. All out of priority diversions
under the IMD shall be administered as 100% depletive to the La Plata River. When the
IMD is not in priority, diversions for the mill operations from the IMD will continue only
to the extent that augmentation water is available in the two Augmentation Ponds to
replace diversions. If no water is available in the Augmentation Ponds, then diversions
from IMD will cease.
water right decreed herein is in priority, up to 1 c.f.s may be
b} When the IlVID
diverted at the IMD to fill the Augmentation Ponds and the Idaho Mill Settling Pond.
The 1 c.f.s diversion rate will allow the Ponds .o be filled quickly if the La Plata Rive. -.r is
off call only briefly. See Paragraph 8(A)(4). The Augmentation Ponds will have low-
level outlet pipes with meters and valves to control releases. There will be no dead
storage in the Augmentation Ponds.
C) Up to 40 gpm will be needed for normz.l milling operations. 25% of this watcr
(10 g.p.rn.) will be diverted under the AVID water right, and pumped through a pipeline to
the Mill inlet, where it will be used for mining and milling purposes. The remaining 75%
(30 g.p.m.) will be pumped from the Settling Pond back to the Mill inlet, where it will be
run through the mill again• The outlet, Owa er s delince vered to}
exhaustion.
