Access Portal Collapse Repair and Equipment and Stope Rock Removal Work Plan <br />March 2, 2012 <br />May Day No. 1 <br />3.4 Post Construction Monitoring Program <br />Monument control point(s) will be established at the site in close proximity to the portal/highwall <br />to monitor slope movement, if any. A benchmark control point will be established at an <br />undisturbed location at the site from which the slope movement monuments will be measured. <br />Design for this will be included in a final design report, and installation of monitoring devices <br />will be performed during Phase 2 activities. <br />3.5 Inspection and Maintenance Program <br />The inspection and maintenance program will generally consist of the following: <br />• Remove debris, slash, and trees to a temporary storage area; <br />• All paper, tape, wood lathes, etc., will be bagged and disposed in an offsite landfill; <br />• Inspect constructed slopes for signs of distress; <br />• Check condition of silt fences; <br />• Remove soil/rock buildup and repair any damage observed as necessary; <br />• Visually check and record cracks in constructed slopes and roadways; and, <br />• Measure slope movement monuments as necessary. <br />Health and Safety <br />Health and safety of all construction workers, inspectors and Visitors addressed illbe importantthe following during all <br />construction activities.
