Topsoil pile HRS at Horse Gulch fill.
o Vegetation appeared adequate and slopes stable on observed topsoil piles
throughout the site. No instability was apparent.
o Topsoil piles observed were marked appropriately.
o Stripping was occurring and topsoil was being placed at pile G 102 and near the
ready line.
o Topsoil from pile G102 was being placed and graded at parcel KAB17. The
drainage channel was mostly constructed in this parcel at time of inspection.
Topsoil depths here will be verified in subsequent inspections.
o Topsoil placement will cease near the end of October due to lack of moisture as
some precipitation is necessary to secure and stabilize placed topsoil.
o Contour ditches are in place in the newly stripped areas.
o Topsoil placement and removal activities appeared to be adequate.
Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 2
Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 1
Page 7 of 9
