Ground Water <br />New Horizon currently samples each groundwater site for a variety of quality parameters. Of all <br />the parameters that are analyzed for, several key indicator parameters are identified and are <br />addressed for this report. These are lab pH, lab conductivity, TDS, sulfate, calcium, iron, <br />magnesium, sodium and elevation. Water monitoring data from 2000 through 2016 can be found <br />in Appendix 3, and summary graphs of the indicator parameters are provided in Appendix 4. <br />Please see Map 2.04.7-1 A for monitoring locations. <br />GW-N16P1. GW-N17P1, and GW-N18P1 Well Series <br />GW -N 16P 1 monitors the underburden aquifer directly adjacent to the mining area. GW -N 17P 1 <br />monitors the Dakota coal aquifer directly adjacent to the mining area, and GW-N18P1 monitors <br />the overburden aquifer directly adjacent to the mining area. <br />Summary of the indicator parameters for each well are provided as follows: <br />6 1 P a g e <br />
