The proposed
exploration will be conducted within the green shaded area shown on the attached map.
This area is located on MCC's surface lands and is within the current permit area.
If insufficient data result from the first hole, then MCC will drill a second hole within the
area shown on the map. If insufficient data still results, then the third hole will be drilled.
The holes will be rotary drilled to 400'- 700' in depth and will be cased through the
upper 50' of unconsolidated material. If any temporary roads are needed, they will be
about 12' in width and the total maximum combined length will be about 1,500' (or about
0.41 acre). Up to three (3) Y4 -acre pads may also be required.
MCC would like to proceed as quickly as we can to avoid inclement weather and ground
conditions at that higher elevation, so your prompt consideration of this revision
application would be appreciated. Please contact me at (970) 929-2238 or by e-mail
should you have questions regarding this submittal.
Sincerely,
Kathleen G.
