September 13, 2017
Peter Hayes, Environmental Protection Specialist II
Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
1313 Sherman Street, Rm. 215
Denver, CO 80203
RECEIVED
Re: Loloff , , Mill Iron Mining
P 19 /217
DNIStON OF REC'-",'tTION
Dear Peter,
MININGAND&,' _Ty
Am reluctant to write you again as your past promises of a slurry wall are
long past due by approximately 24 months! They (whoever'theV are) have
actually started the wall but apparently'theV have decided to dig-out a lot more
dirt, so it is a real mess over there and all the dust does not help my asthma.
I am 74 years and fve been hauling my hose around and across the
driveway and hauling out to the field to water trees, all with extra hoses because
the hose connections are all on the North side.
Just one more thing-sorry, across the street from the pit they are hauling in
rip-rap, much of which is blacktop (I thought illegal). When they start crushing
the mess, will I have to get oxygen to even go out in the yard? rll report to the
environmental people, but they arerft much help, m try anyway.
Thank you for your time and attention and I sure would like my Well back!
And, if myself and my neighbors had their druthers'theV would not be allowed to
'CrusK'their cement and blacktop, thereby polluting the whole area!
I remain,
Diana Taylor
665 Balsam Avenue
Greeley, CO 90631
(970) 356-2869
