Activity was limited to maintenance of the <br /> buildings, storm water management and ground control to protect the existing hoist shed <br /> and shaft house from rain and snow melt water. The steep bank behind the hoist shed <br /> kept sloughing off and causing a build up of dirt and rocks against the metal building. A <br /> sturdy barrier was constructed some years ago to stop this from happening but it was not <br /> evident on my copy of the last map. This new map shows this barrier.
