The site is very dry and <br /> grasses have dried up for the season. The noxious weed species,Jointed goatgrass, observed on the reclaimed <br /> pond area have dried up. New growth has not germinated from this year®seed source. The inspector flagged <br /> with pink flagging tape, a number of the Jointed goatgrass plants to aid in identification of this species. When the <br /> weather cools down and the area receives moisture,the operator should check for germination. Late fall early <br /> growth is the recommended time to treat this noxious species.
