31. Statement of significance: The archaeological discovery consists of two intact thermal features occurring at
approximately 20 cm below ground surface. The two discovered features have a signficant potential to yield additional
information regarding the regional prehistory of northwestern Colorado. The site is recommended as eligible for inclusion
on the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion D.
32. Statement of historic integrity related to significance: The two thermal features are largely intact and have a
signficant potential to yield important information that could, at the very least, contribute to research questions regarding
regional cultural chronology, and susbistance practices.
