COLORADO CULTURAL RESOURCE SURVEY <br />Prehistoric Archaeological Component Form <br />OAHP1401 <br />Rev. 11110 <br />Use this form in conjunction with the Management Data Form. One of these forms should be completed for each cultural <br />resource with a prehistoric component. <br />1. Resource Number: 2. Temporary Resource Number: MK -2-082317 <br />3. Site Type: Prehistoric Thermal Features <br />4. General Component Description: Site is a discovery made approximately 5-10 cm below surface east of County <br />Road 51 within ground stripped area of the haul road being constructed as part of the Collom Expansion Project. The <br />discovery is being handled per the Cultural Resource Protection Plan developed for cultural resource discoveries during <br />ground disturbing activities associated with the project. The site consists of seven assoicated thermal features. Each <br />individual feature is stained sediment with varying charcoal and heat altered rock density. No additional associated <br />artifacts were observed around the features. <br />All top soil has been removed in the vicnity of the discovery. The site was flagged for avoidance. The horizontal extent of <br />the site is limited to the seven features. No intact sediments remain within the vicinity of the site. <br />F7: Circular stained sediment with one degraded, reddended, angular, sandstone HAR. Earth and rock. Measures 45 by <br />45 cm. <br />5.
