COLORADO CULTURAL RESOURCE SURVEY <br />Prehistoric Archaeological Component Form <br />OAHP1401 <br />Rev. 11/10 <br />Use this form in conjunction with the Management Data Form. One of these forms should be completed for each cultural <br />resource with a prehistoric component. <br />1. Resource Number: 2. Temporary Resource Number: MK -1-082317 <br />3. Site Type: Prehistoric Thermal Features <br />4. General Component Description: Site is a discovery made approximately 20 cm below surface west of County Road <br />51 within ground stripped area of the haul road being constructed as part of the Collom Expansion Project. The <br />discovery is being handled per the Cultural Resource Protection Plan developed for cultural resource discoveries during <br />ground disturbing activities associated with the project. The discovery is two thermal features with charcoal and heat <br />altered rock. No additional associated artifacts were observed around the features. <br />All top soil has been removed in the vicnity. The two features were flagged for avoidance. The horizontal extent of the <br />cultrual component is limited to the two features and no intact sediments remain within the vicinity of the disturbance <br />area. <br />5.
