Site Type: Prehistoric Artifact Scatter <br />4. General Component Description: Site is a prehistoric artifact scatter consisting of one projectile point and <br />approximately 20 flakes. The projectile point is similar to large corner notched style Archaic (6400 BC to 400 BC) <br />projectile points found throughout western Colorado and southern Wyoming (Reed and Metcalf 1999). The scatter is <br />sparse with no discernable cultural concentrations and covers an approximately 100 by 30 m area. <br />5.
