General Description (should include both on site as well as geographical setting with aspect, landforms, vegetation, <br />soils, depositional environment, water, ground visibility): Site is located on a plain to the north of the base of the large <br />north to south trending flat topped ridge. The random artifact scatter is crossed by a two -track road and powerline. <br />Sediments are a valley fill silt clay loam with sparse pebble size gravels. Vegetation is sagebrush, rabbitbrush, thistle <br />and various grasses and forbs. Ground coverage averages 25 to 50 percent. <br />21.
