No operator was present during the inspection. The <br />weather was clear and ground conditions were dry. Temperatures during the inspection were around seventy <br />degrees fahrenheit. The primary focus of this inspection was to check compliance regarding three pending <br />violations. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; <br />Drainage – Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9 ; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The Magpie Division Ditch was inspected. The ditch is stable and armored with rip rap along the majority of the <br />remaining channel. Maintenance has been requested regarding a small portion of the upper channel with missing <br />rip rap. Maintenance in this area is still necessary. There are no rills, gullies or major erosion along the channel. <br /> <br />ROADS – Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3) <br />Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4) <br />Surfacing and Maintenance4.03.1(5) and (6)/4.03.2(5) and (6) <br />Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br />The road and road spur associated with the NW-MW well was inspected. The primary two track road has not yet <br />been reclaimed but has been self -healing due to lack of traffic. No erosion was observed during the length of either <br />road sections. The road spur has been reclaimed and thick with vegetation. <br /> <br />The reclaimed access road associated with the reclaimed substation pad was inspected. No erosion was visible and <br />was in stable condition. Vegetation was sparse along the access road.
