f <br /><4- <br />St;�iUX" IN"VERY <br />970428-2222 or 970-3274218 <br />AGGREGATE AND READY M[X SUM= <br />" OFFERING SATURDAY DEL1VERIE$ <br />(minimum orders apply) <br />Public Notice <br />NOTICE OF PROPOS® DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety proposes to approve Permit Renewal Application No. l (RN -1), <br />submitted by Elk Ridge Mining and Reclamation, LLC for a coal mining permit at the New Horizon North Mae (Permit <br />No. C-2010-089). The proposed renewal will allow for continued mining and/or reclamation operations at the site. <br />The New Horizon North Mine is a/an surface operation located in Montrose County, approximately 25 miles Northwest <br />of Nucla. Coal interest is private, and the surface to be affected is private land. The permit area encompasses approxi- <br />mately 328.70 acres <br />This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all requirements of the Colorado <br />Surface Coal Mrning Reclamation Act, Section 3433101 et seq., CAS., and the regulations promulgated thereunder. <br />A copy of the "Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance", including any stipulations, is on file for public inspec- <br />tion at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Roan 215 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Deaver, Colorado 110203, and at the Montrose County Clerk and Recorder, 320 South 1st street, Montrose, CO 81401. <br />Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal hearing before <br />the Mored Lend Reclamation Board on the proposed decision. Such request meat be made within thirty (30) days of the <br />mind publication of this notice, must be in wridn*, and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the request <br />and the objections to the proposed decision. <br />4t. <br />Published in San bagiel Basin Forum on August 24 sad 31, 2017 <br />
