One of these forms should be completed for each cultural <br />resource with a prehistoric component. <br />1.Resource Number:2.Temporary Resource Number:MK-1-082317 <br />3.Site Type:Prehistoric Thermal Features <br />4.General Component Description:Site is a discovery made approximately 20 cm below surface west of County Road <br />51 within ground stripped area of the haul road being constructed as part of the Collom Expansion Project. The <br />discovery is being handled per the Cultural Resource Protection Plan developed for cultural resource discoveries during <br />ground disturbing activities associated with the project. The discovery is two thermal features with charcoal and heat <br />altered rock. No additional associated artifacts were observed around the features. <br />All top soil has been removed in the vicnity. The two features were flagged for avoidance.
