EXHIBIT 27, ITEM 2
I. INTRODUCTION
The Wilson Reservoir Geotechnical Drilling Program, will include areas along State Highway 13
and Wilson Reservoir and will consist of drilling four drill holes (please see Figure Exh. 27, Item
2 for hole locations). The drilling program will obtain subsurface geological and geotechnical
information for these areas. When possible, bedrock samples will be collected and evaluated for
rock quality, rock type, weathering and hardness.
Existing roads will be utilized to access as close as possible to the drill hole locations. Once
equipment is close to the location, a small dozer will be used to brush an access (approximately
15" wide) to allow the small track mounted drill rig to access each site. Topsoil stripping will
not be necessary for this activity. Should any geotechnical drill holes not be disturbed by future
disturbance, they will be reclaimed in accordance with Volume 15, Table 2.05.9.
All borings will be logged by a geologist or geotechnical engineer and recorded on a field -boring
log.
II. DRILL HOLE SPECIFICS
Two drill holes (WR -1 and WR -2) are located adjacent to the Wilson Reservoir (north of the
existing pump house location). Please see Figure Exh. 27, Item 2. Drill hole depths will be
approximately 80 feet of penetration into bedrock for pump house design input.
Two drill holes (WR -3 and WR -4) will be drilled east and west of State Highway 13 to an
approximate depth of 25 feet, for data to bore under State Highway 13 in the future. Please see
Figure Exh. 27, Item 2 for the locations of these two drill holes.
III. BACLFILLING OF DRILLED HOLES
Since all borings will be shallow and not intended to penetrate subsurface coal seams the drill
holes will be backfilled with drill cuttings and marked with a wooden stake. Drill-hole locations
will be surveyed and mapped for future reference.
Each. 27, Item 2-1 Revision Date: 2/13/17
Revision No.: TR -110
