The revision was submitted by Elk Ridge Mining and <br />Reclamation, LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations <br />initiate from this date of filing. <br /> <br />PR-2 is proposing to change the post mining land use on Garvey & Co Property. The topsoil <br />handling plan, revegetation plan and irrigation design will also be changed to accomodate the new <br />post mining land use. The applicant is not proposing additional surface disturbance outside of the <br />area currently approved for disturbance. <br /> <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 2.5 miles Northwest of Nucla. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br /> <br />Portions of Sections 25 and 36, T 47 N, R 16 W, N.M.P.M. <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Nucla.
