There have been two minor revisions (MR -14 and MR -
15) and one technical revision (TR -19) since Midterm No. 4, Approved on January 26, 2016.
There were no changes in the bond amount from these revisions, The reclamation estimate was
updated using the Division's CIRCES cost estimation program.
The reclamation estimate was calculated to be $896,138.28. The current bond for the
Lorencito Canyon Mine is $927,121. The site currently has enough bond to cover the
reclamation activities at the site. The previous cost estimate for MT -4 was $842,218.36. The
new estimate reflects an increase of $53,919.92. The increases are related in the increases in
seeding costs.
The reclamation costs reflect the approved reclamation plan outlined in the C-1996-084
permit. Tasks included in the estimate include all of the tasks that have not been approved for
bond release, even if the tasks have been completed.
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 http://mining. state.co.us
John W.
