The RMMP Peat Mine is <br /> located in the Deer Valley Subdivision approximately 10 miles east of Alamosa on Hwy 160 and <br /> 1.3 miles south of Hwy 160; DRMS ID: M-1994-081. <br /> It is the intent of RMMP to transport and deposit construction and demolition debris, specifically <br /> concrete and asphalt, into the mined areas of the RMMP Peat Mine as inert fill. All concrete and <br /> asphalt will be imported from the RMMP Deer Valley Construction and Demolition Debris <br /> (CDD) site located on the northwest side of Meadowlake Blvd directly across from the RMMP <br /> Peat Mine site. <br /> CDPHE is requesting a letter from the DRMS that addresses the following: <br /> • RMMP Peat Mine is a permitted mine with the DRMS <br /> • DRMS approval for disposal of concrete and asphalt at RMMP Peat Mine <br /> • An approved list of clearly identified types of waste permitted for disposal by the DRMS <br /> at the RMMP Peat Mine <br /> Please send copies of your letter to Eric Jacobs, CDPHE; Ron Barrier, RMMP Peat Mine and <br /> RMMP Deer Valley CDD; and myself, Greg Lewicki and Associates.
