EXHIBIT 7, ITEM 23, PART L
Wilson Storage Pond
Near the beginning of construction for the Collom area, a temporary water storage pond will be
built to store water needed for the construction of the Collom Haul Road and other related uses.
Water will be pumped from a Colowyo held water right on Wilson Creek (please see Map 1013)
up to the Wilson Storage pond through a pipe lying on the ground to fill the Wilson Storage
Pond.
To store this water, the Wilson Storage Pond will be built to hold approximately 17 acre feet.
This quantity is estimated to provide the estimated need for one week of construction operations.
The pond is located in the SE/4 of Section 16, T4N, R93 W. This partially subgrade structure is
temporary in nature and is expected to be in place for a 1 to 4 year time period.
The pond has been designed with 3H:1 V side slopes, a 30 foot wide embankment crest, and an
open channel emergency spillway 20 feet in width with 3H:1 V sideslopes. Total depth of the
pond is less than 10 feet. Exhibit 7-23, Figure L1 shows the location of the structure, cross-
sections, and other design information.
No surface water inflow is anticipated, so no SEDCAD modeling has been provided.
Exh. 7-23L-1 Revision Date: 3/3/17
Revision No.: TR -108
