Air Resource Protection (Rule 4.17)
A water truck was observed spraying down the haul road along the South Taylor Pit to reduce
fugitive dust emissions. No issues were noted.
Postmining Land Use (Rule 4.16); Protection of Fish, Wildlife, and Related Environmental
Values (Rules 4.18)
The Team observed two herd of antelope, several deer, coyote tracks, abundant elk scat, and two
hatchling nighthawks with their mother during inspection of the Phase I and Phase II/III
reclaimed areas, in support of the post -mining land use of rangeland. No issues were noted.
Programmatic compliance
No violations were issued as a result of this evaluation nor are any pending.
