New Horizon Mine <br />III. Summary of Reclamation and Mannement <br />A. General Description <br />The area applied for under this application was reclaimed in 2009. As shown on Map 1, the area <br />requested for bond release is a permanent road structure. <br />The ten-year minimum bond liability period is not applicable for a permanent structure such as <br />this road being applied for under this application. There is not any topsoil replacement nor any <br />revegetation for this area as it the remaining portion of road which was formally the BB Detour <br />road. The landowner requested this portion of the BB Detour road remain on their property post - <br />mining to support the post -mine land use on their adjacent property. The letter from the surface <br />landowner requesting this road to be retained as permanent feature can be found in Attachment <br />2.05.3(3)-8 of the permit application package. <br />B. Topsoil Replacement <br />The applicability of Rule 4.06.4 does not apply to this permanent structure as it is a road. <br />C. Revegetation Success Demonstration <br />The applicability of Rule 4.15.8 does not apply to this permanent structure as it is a road. <br />D. Post -Mining Land Use <br />The post -mining land use for the area applied for is permanent structure (road). <br />E.
