Public Notice Snowcap Coal Company, P.O. Box 1430, Palisade, CO, 81526, has submitted a complete application for a technical revision (TR -70) to the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety for its Roadside North and South Portals, mining permit No. C-1981-041. The proposed revision decreases the permit boundary and revises exhibits and tables throughout the permit. The purpose of the revision is to change the permit boundary to reflect bond release granted by the Division with the approval of SL -10 which will reduce the permit area from 732.5 acres to 548.0 acres. The Roadside mines are located approximately three miles northeast of Palisade, CO at the Interstate 70, Cameo Exit No. 46. The permit area is encompassed within the following lands: T1 OS, R98W., 6th P.M.: Sections 26, 27, 28, 34, & 35 T11S, R98W., 6th P.M.: Section 2 Upon approval of this technical revision the permit area will be encompassed within the following lands: T10S, R98W., 6th P.M.: Sections 26, 34, & 35 T11 S, R98W., 6th P.M.: Section 2 The location of these sections is contained within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Cameo and Palisade Quadrangle maps. A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder's office, 200 S. Spruce, Grand Junction, CO.
