The inspection was initiated on July 18, <br />2017, with inspection of the mine records at J.E. Stover and Associates office in Grand Junction. The on -the - <br />ground inspection was conducted on 7/19/2017. <br />The weather was clear and hot. Mr. Chuck Silengo was at the mine office when the site inspection occurred and <br />accompanied the inspector on the site. Prior to the on the ground inspection, McClane Canyon Mining was <br />loading a flatbed truck with the fan and fan housing from the portal area to use at a Utah property. <br />AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS — Rule 5.02.4(1): <br />The Mine records are stored at J.E. Stover and associates office in Grand Junction. Mine records were up <br />to date. The records form is attached to this report. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE - Rule 4.05 <br />Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10; <br />Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />The pond has been cleaned out. The pond is currently dry. The operator has cut tamarisk that had been <br />growing on the pond embankment. Cut tamarisk remain on the embankment. It is recommended that the tamarisk <br />stems and branches be removed and disposed of properly to reduce the potential for re -sprouting of the propagules. <br />No new burrowing by animals was observed on the embankment. Weeds have been managed on the pond area. <br />Culverts throughout the mine site from the portal area, along the roadway, and to the pond have been cleaned and <br />are unobstructed. Ditches throughout the site are clear of debris and blockages. East Salt Creek was at low flow <br />with small puddles of water visible at the surface of the creek. <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />The mine site is in good condition. Some Perennial pepperweed is visible on the site that need to be <br />controlled.
