This fan will be installed on the return air portal site to assist in <br />obtaining sufficient mine ventilation to satisfy requirements of the Mine Safety and <br />Health Administration. Although the fan and related steel structures will be removed <br />for final reclamation, the concrete footers and pad will remain in place as they will be <br />covered by approximately 20-30 feet of backfill as shown in the reclamation section of <br />the plan. <br />The current mine ventilation fan, located at the intake air portal, will remain in place <br />and operational, although it is expected that it will remain turned off or operating at <br />lower volume once the new fan is operational. <br />Please find enclosed: <br />• Minor Revision Application Form <br />• Map King II -007 Operation Plan 8s Surface Features <br />• King 11 Section 2.05.4 pages 6 8, 8 <br />• Fan structure volume calculation drawing <br />
