The reports
were received on; May 9, 2017 (April report), June 13, 2017 (May report) and July 18,
2017 (June report). The DMRs were submitted via email to the Division. The reports
cover the time period of; April I to April 30, May 1 to May 31, and June 1 to June 30.
The Division finds the reports to be in compliance with Rule 4.05.13(2).
During the months of April, May and June 2017, Outfall 004A was the only outfall to
discharge. The data from Outfall 004A indicates that there were no exceedances. The
report noted that the value for the 5 day BOD effluent gross measurement was at 30 mg/1.
This is equal to the maximum allowed value for the 30 day average at this location.
There were no flows recorded at the other outfalls during the 2"d Quarter of 2017;
therefore, there were no exceedances at these locations.
This concludes the Division's review of the god Quarter 2017 Discharge Monitoring Reports for
the Bowie No. 2 Mine.
