• The NRCS in Moffat County did not recommend fertilizer during reclamation. This was <br /> confirmed in an email on June 28, 2017 from Mr. Kendall Smith of the Moffat County NRCS <br /> district office. <br /> • The NRCS recommended seed mix is included in the exhibit. <br /> • Straw wattles will be placed at the crest of reconstructed slopes to protect the surface from <br /> erosion. In addition,wattles will be placed at the toe of the native highwall outcrop <br /> abutting the slopes and every 30 ft. down the reconstructed slopes when reconstructed <br /> slopes are longer than 30 ft. Approximately 2500 linear ft. of straw wattles may be used <br /> during final reclamation. Figure F-5 <br /> reflects anticipated topography after slope restoration during reclamation. Figure F-6 proposes <br /> straw wattle placement after the disturbed area is seeded and mulched. <br /> The adequacy response was USPS Expressed Mail on July 17, 2017 to Lila Herod, Moffat County <br /> Clerk& Recorder.
