Stover and Associates <br />2352 North 7'h Street, Unit B <br />Grand Junction, CO 81501 <br />RE: North Thompson Creek Mines, Permit No. C-1981-025 <br />Is' Quarter 2017 Pond Inspection Report and 2017 Yearly Impoundment <br />Inspection Report Review <br />Dear Mr. Stover, <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (the Division) has received <br />and reviewed the I" Quarter 2017 Pond Inspection Report and the 2017 Yearly <br />Impoundment Inspection Report for the North Thompson Creek Mines. The reports were <br />received on April 4, 2017, The Division has the following comments: <br />The quarterly pond inspections are in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). The inspections <br />did not identify any potential hazards or maintenance requirements during the 1st quarter <br />of 2017. <br />The Yearly Impoundment Inspection Report contained information required under Rule <br />4.05.9(14) and Rule 4.05.9(15). The impoundments inspected include; the Long Pond, T- <br />1 Pond, T-2 Pond, P9 Pond and the Refuse Pond.
