By December 2016 all remaining production and ground water monitoring pads were
reclaimed and all pipe and building demo was completed and the main well field road and all
other ancillary roads or pads were re-contoured and reclaimed. No structures remain in the
well field and all disturbed land areas have been re-contoured and reclamation seeded to
stabilize the soils and provide wildlife forage.
^. a
Photo 3-A view of the former Upper Pump house pad and a section of the main well field road which passed
just to the right of it. On the larger pad for the building, in the center of the photo, you can see reclamation
grasses beginning to populate the soil. In the far pad (a former production well pad) you can see more
established vegetation as this reclamation has had two growing seasons to establish. A difference is also noted
between the north facing well pad and the south facing exposure of the former building site. This snapshot was taken with the drone
hovering about midway between the top of the well field and the Upper Pump Station Pad.
Several reclaimed former production and ground water well pads are tucked in among the
trees and are barely visible.
Solvay Chemicals, Inc.. 4
DRMS Annual Report
July 12,2017
