0 <br />D, AfnrA <br />On 23 October 1980, Grand River Institute was authorized by Sheridan <br />Enterprises, Inc. to conduct a cultural resources sampling inventory of <br />approximately 6100 acres included in the MacLane and Munger Canyons Mine <br />Plan/Permit Area in Garfield County, Colorado. Principal Investigator for <br />the project was Clifton M. Wignall. Project Archaeologist was Sarah M. <br />Crum, who supervised crew members Lester A. Wheeler and Beverly A. Duell- <br />man. <br />The project was administered by Grand River Institute, 1030 Colorado <br />Avenue, Grand Junction, Colorado 81501, under the direction of Carl E. <br />Conner. The report was written by Sarah M. Crum, Carl E. Conner, and <br />Danni L. Langdon. Graphics were prepared by Lester A. Wheeler. <br />• <br />
