Narrative Water Quality Based Effluent Limitation (Outfalls 001, 003 and 004) Discharges authorized under this permit must be controlled as necessary to meet applicable water quality standards. The division expects that compliance with the other terms and conditions in this permit will control discharges as necessary to meet applicable water quality standards. If at any time the permittee becomes aware, or the division determines, that the authorized discharge causes or contributes to an exceedance of applicable water quality standards, the permittee must take corrective action as required, document the corrective actions as required, and report the corrective actions to the Division as required (see CORRECTIVE ACTIONS). If the division becomes aware of information indicating that compliance with the other terms and conditions of this permit will not control the discharge as necessary to meet applicable water quality standards, the division may include additional site-specific water quality -based effluent limitations) to the discharge.
