2.03.8 Permit Term Information
(1) Surface mining activities (open pit or strip mining) are not planned within the
permit area.
(2) The construction of the surface facilities occurred in 1976 and 1977. Mining
has occurred sporadically since that time. Approximately 1650 acres will be
affected during the life of the mine plan.
(3) The Applicant will conduct underground mining activities in excess of 5 years.
The applicant requests a permit terms of five years.
