2.04.10 Vegetation Information <br />gambelii (10 percent cover). Less common shrubs include Utah service -berry, <br />Amelanchier utahensis, big sagebrush, and mountain pepperweed. <br />Juniper Woodland, illustrating sparse understory vegetation. <br />Forbs are relatively infrequent. Forbs present in minor amounts are: timber <br />milkvetch, Astragalus convallarius, northern sweetvetch, Jedysoruim boreale, tumble <br />mustard, and goldenrod, Solidago sparsiflora. <br />PRODUCTION <br />Estimated production ranges from 3.2 g/m2 to 142.8 g/m2 and averages 38.7 <br />g/m2 or 345 pounds per acre. Of this, 48 percent (18.6 g/m2) is Salina wildrye and 13 <br />percent (5.1 g/m2) is Indian ricegrass.
