PERMIT #: M-2001-100 <br />INSPECTOR'S INITIALS: SJM <br />INSPECTION DATE: June 13, 2017 <br />OBSERVATIONS <br />This inspection was conducted as part of the normal program established by the Colorado Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety. The BLM Pit # 1 is located approximately 5 miles southeast of Grand <br />Junction, Colorado in Mesa County. The site can be accessed from B and 32 Roads. <br />The mine identification sign and affected area boundary markers are in place and in compliance with Rule <br />3.1.12. The sign is located at the main entrance to the site and is shared by two adjacent pits- The Ford Pit <br />and the Hall pit. <br />A scale house was on site. There was no fuel stored on site. There appears to be no offsite erosion and no <br />water retention was observed. There was a screener on site, but did not appear to be operable. <br />Noxious weeds appeared to be under control and visibly dead. Several stockpiles were within the permit <br />boundaries.
